I'm originally from Pennsylvania and I was in Virginia for college and graduate school - Virginia Commonwealth University for undergrad and Old Dominion University for my master's degree. Now I'm working on my MD at Mizzou. I've been doing CrossFit since 2014 and coaching since 2019.

My favorite things about coaching CrossFit are getting to see the moments when things "click" for people, and giving them that one small cue or change that they needed.
I do CrossFit because I love it and the friends that I've made through it. And the health benefits are important to me so I'll have the best quality of life for as long as I can.
If you're considering CrossFit, just take that first step through the door - it's easily the hardest part but it will be so worth it once you've done it.
