What to expect at your first class:
The coach for your class will greet you and show you around, they will likely introduce you to the rest of the class so that our other members can help if you seem lost. Our members are great that way!
The coach will review what class will include for the day - most times, but not always, there is a strength piece (generally a barbell movement) followed by the workout.
The coach will provide options for scaling most movements, and if you need additional scaling options don't hesitate to ask the coach.
If you are new to CrossFit or even new to exercise in general, it will be important to stretch after and drink lots of water/eat a healthy meal. You will likely be sore the next couple of days, don't take the soreness as a sign to be sedentary, keeping moving will help your muscles.
